Making the most of a crazy weekend-no power, Internet , AC, no cell service running on a generator.

Friday night my neighborhood got hit with a big storm that only lasted maybe 20 min but it was bad. It even killed two people from falling trees Gave me a chance to go over my emergency operations gear for the new house and shop. #1 I really think almost everyone should have at least a small generator it can really save the day and make a bad situation far more tolerable. I have a Yamaha they make great ones as do Honda and best of all the are quite. maybe down the road we will consider a whole house generator as a few ov my neighbors have but for now my little Yamaha saved the weekend for us and for me getting some thing done.
