Laser Engraving Disaster: Huge Cutting Board Huge Problems, and How I Saved It!

This project had every problem you can imagine! It started with a huge wood cutting board that didn't even fit in my laser. Tried using a passthrough — but the board was way too thick. Switched over to my older open gantry laser... and then LightBurn decided to lose all my settings! 😬Just when I thought we were back on track, the machine stopped mid-engrave for no reason. When I restarted, the alignment was completely off. I had to re sand the surface and start over on a portions of the board.
