What “grinds my gears” is how people dismiss early reporting just because I’m independent. I don’t have producers, legal teams, or advisors telling me what I can’t say, so I don’t wait for permission to connect the dots—like base fortifications, mines, Marines heading over, and talk of 10,000 more troops. The takeaway is prepping-focused: degraded forward bases can mean slower U.S. response times in the Gulf, higher risk of oil disruption through the Strait of Hormuz, and fuel prices spiking fast.
