In this video we play a game I call "DUNGEONS & DYNOS," where a 20 sided dice is rolled as I'm on the wall, to determine what my next climbing movement has to be! About This Video

In this video I play a stupid-fun climbing game I made up called “Dungeons & Dynos,” and it’s exactly what it sounds like: I’m on the wall, someone rolls a 20-sided dice, and whatever number comes up tells me what my next movement has to be. It’s basically taking all the normal “I should do the sensible beta” thoughts and throwing them directly into the trash. I run it across three different walls, and each one turns into its own little chaos experiment—sometimes the dice gives me something that actually works, and sometimes it tries to make me explode off the holds. The big takeaway is that random constraints are a sneaky way to train adaptability. You’re forced to commit, improvise, and keep moving even when the sequence feels awkward, which is honestly a pretty good mirror of real climbing when your plan falls apart mid-route. If you’re bored of normal sessions, this is an easy way to turn a gym day into a game, get some laughs, and still end up working coordination, decision-making, and staying calm under pressure. Also… yes, I tease “outro & backflips?” because I can’t help myself.
