About This Video

Arboretum V11 (8a) has been living rent-free in my head for four years, and this film is me finally putting that whole saga on the screen. I take you out to The Garden in Sweet Home, Oregon and walk through what it actually looks like to keep coming back to one outdoor boulder problem—through the highs, the “why am I even trying this” days, and the little breakthroughs that keep you hooked. This isn’t just a send video; it’s a bouldering documentary about the process. My goal with this one is straight-up inspiration: how I think about long projects, what motivates me when progress is slow, and how I try to stay grounded when the grade is big and the timeline is even bigger. If you’ve ever had a climb that felt impossible, I want you to see that the win isn’t only the top-out—it’s showing up again, learning the moves, and building the mindset to keep fighting. And yes… I’m still here to motivate you and make you laugh while we suffer on rock.
