Swansea has some OUTSTANDING food spots 👏🏼

Welcome back to Scran Away, the series where I travel the country to hunt down the best footy scran in the UK. This episode takes me to Swansea for a proper day of eating, football and local flavour. I start things off at the brilliantly named Grandad Needs His Medicine, a spot known for some of the strongest sandwiches in Wales. Their brisket sandwich has become a bit of a legend online, so I had to find out what all the noise was about. Next up, I head over to the Swansea.com Stadium to sit down with club hero Lee Trundle. We chat through his career, his love for the city and what Swansea football means to the people who live here. Then it is time to take in the match as the Swans take on Hull City. To finish the day, I visit Awa’s Grill for a massive Turkish platter loaded with meat, heat and proper flavour. The perfect way to round off a cracking food tour of the city.
