HOW TO REMOVE FOILED BACKING FROM GLASS GEMS

Using glass gems in stained glass is great fun! Unfortunately many great gems come with mirrored and painted backings- when we want them translucent. Here I compare six chemicals to come up with the best way to remove the foiled backing. Now there is a wider variety to chose from- just some will need a bit of work to get them ready to use. Not that hard- and the gems are impressive!
