Use UV resin over a silicone ball to make this fiber optic ball. I bought 2mm and .75mm plastic fiber optic strands, and cut them into lengths varying for .5"- 2.5". This video show how I placed them in circular and curved groups, and added UV resin. This was cured under a UV light for 30 seconds- 1 min. Each curve was added, then cured, one at a time. I then removed the silicone ball and filled the cavity with LED fairy lights. Very fun- looks better than the photos. Here are the materials I used- purchased on Amazon.
