Air plant pot made with capiz shells- stained glass style

Using translucent Cadiz shells in place of glass, one can get the look of stained glass- but avoid the weight of glass. These shells are easy to cut with standard scissors, come in many colors (yes dyed) and can easily be foiled and soldered into creative units as one would do with glass for stained glass.
