In this video I’m setting up my Uromastyx geyri, Chalupa, with a fresh new look—starting with what I’m calling the easiest DIY rock background ever. I walk you through the overall vibe I’m going for (natural, arid, and functional), and how I’m using the background to add texture and visual depth without making the enclosure a nightmare to clean or maintain. The goal is always the same in my reptile room: make it look awesome, but keep it practical for the animal and for me.
