Don Quixote and the Windmills

Join us online for our family program Stories and Art, where we tell stories and look at art together! This month’s story, “Don Quixote and the Windmills,” is based on a famous Spanish novel by Miguel de Cervantes. The story is paired with a woodcut by Hans Alexander Mueller (1950) and a painting by Reginald Marsh (1923) from the Yale University Art Gallery’s collection. As you listen to the story of Don Quixote’s adventures, notice what details you see in the artwork. Then, using a piece of paper and a pencil, draw or write about your own adventure.
