In times without the internet, it was hard to get reliable information. So all they could do was go to Japan! The two of them started in the middle of Tokyo with a camper van and managed an incredible 60 km on the first day in traffic jams and left-hand traffic. Finding their way was a picture puzzle, as all the signposts were in Japanese characters. Eventually, Arendt/Schweiger made it to the deep snow-covered mountains and they managed to get unique and, at the time, new footage of the monkeys in Hell Valley bathing in the hot springs. © 1979, licensed by Albatross World Sales #monkey #monkeys #wildlife #animals #japan #hotspring
