On the west beach of the North Sea island of Borkum there is a so-called seal bank. The North Sea is their territory: seals and grey seals belong to the so-called "earless seals" and are perfectly adapted to a life above and under water, as they are amphibious. But watch out! If humans get too close to the cute seal pups, the mothers will flee and do not accept their offspring even later. The seal rescuers specialize in such cases and move out to save the little "howlers" with their googly eyes from certain starvation.
