I've been one of the biggest critics of auditors on this platform, but after watching hundreds of hours of their content, I have to admit they get one thing absolutely right... and it's not what you think. Let me be clear - I support accountability and transparency. I always have. My issue isn't WHAT auditors claim to do, it's HOW they do it. There's nothing wrong with recording public servants carrying out their duties. The problem is their methods make me suspicious that accountability isn't their primary goal. I've noticed something interesting recently. The number of auditing channels has diminished, and many have changed tactics. They've moved from MOD sites and police stations to areas of high emotion - protests, migrant hotels, busy city centres like Manchester. They're now filming vulnerable people going about their business, creating conflict for clicks and views. Why this shift? Because they're not getting the confrontation at their usual locations anymore. Workers now approach them in a friendly manner, asking if they can help. When auditors begin their usual script designed to evoke a negative response, people just walk away. Pro-auditor fans claim this proves auditors were right all along - that they've "educated" the public. I believe this is merely an excuse to explain the dwindling confrontations. But here's what really concerns me about where this movement is heading next... What do you think? Are auditors genuinely about accountability, or is it all about the clicks?
