Shortly before being diagnosed with bronchitis, I jog/walked round the Keswick Mountain Festival 25k (15.5 mile) trail run, which was actually 17 miles by my watch! I have done this race many times before and I was again bowled over by the beauty of the course, and my desire to one day live in the Lake District. Race day was supremely hot, so this film also features a wild dip in a tarn, two sports for the price of one there. You're welcome. If you're looking for a film to show you the whole course so you can decide what shoes to wear, you've come to the right place! I wore the Inov-8 TrailFly WIDE FIT shoes which are brilliant for this kind of mixed trail terrain. I've been wearing them all summer now and I'll be reviewing them in my next film. https://www.inov8.com/trailfly-womens-trail-running-shoes?colours=3418&shoe_width=14 My book, The Ultimate Trail Running Handbook https://amzn.to/3jgKvTy Please like and subscribe here on YouTube https://linktr.ee/ClaireWGR Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/wildgingerrunning/ Support me on Patreon https://www.patreon.com/WildGingerRunning Meet me at Nene Valley trail races https://nenevalleyraces.wordpress.com/ Join this channel to get access to perks: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWEw4ys-SlXU1pCp6oyMemQ/join
