Vicky and I are training for a few ultras in 2023 so we went for a jog up a very misty hill near where Vicky lives - can you guess where we are in the thumbnail image? After the run had a chat about how to fit in and enjoy training for ultras while still holding down jobs, kids and some kind of social life, lots of great ideas and strategies from Vicky. We also met some very lovely and entertaining hikers holed up in a stone shelter drinking whisky, that was a highlight of this otherwise pea-soup of a view, windy, rainy and cold day out in the hills! Do tell us what you're training for in 2023 and how you fit it in (doesn't have to be ultras!) we'd love to hear your suggestions, comments and ideas.
