It's been so long and the world is different and honestly I always made music a little bit focused more on being funny and interesting than being something I was artistically proud of but this is in a different direction. My [Am]head by the P[D]A, I heard my [G]heart [Am]beat [C]weird, you [Am]felt so real be[D]side me, I [G]didn’t [Am]feel as [C]real. Flat [G]earthers argue whether other [Am]planets are [D]flat, Doctors [G]say not to worry but I’m still [Am]scared of [D]math A [Am]thousand little [D]gods down there all [G]whis[Am]per my [C]worth, So I [C]talk to the [D]cats like it’s [G]church. I don’t [C]honk at a [D]truck on a saturday night [G]night, Even though it’s stopped in front of me at the green light I won’t honk at a truck stopped at a green light, ’cause I like... being alive. There’s [G]teeth in the stack where the [Am]power lines [D]end, they [G]sell you the itch and they [Am]rent you the [D]win. A [Am]king bought the [D]kingdom of [G]sig[Am]nal and [C]sin, and the [Am]stans paint their [D]mirrors with [G]pictures[Am] of [C]him. The [G]hit gets quicker, the [Am]loop gets [D]worse, I [G]scrolled until the ghost in the [Am]glass learns [D]words. And my [Am]fingers tap tap [D]tap tap [G]tap tap[Am], [C] in [Am]case of emer[D]gency...[G] [Am] break [C]glass. But still I don’t honk... The moon looks [C]fake, but it’s hanging [D]there, Frozen [G]sky tastes like wine in the [Am]cold -night [C]air.
