About This Video

In this video I’m giving you a full Notion tour of the exact way I organize my university life, especially as an online student. When you’re remote, you really do have to have more discipline and “lock in” because nobody is there telling you what to do—so Notion is literally my best way to stay on top of everything. I’m walking you through my university planner dashboard (it’s the cutest template from my friend Natalie—she’s genuinely so good at designing), and how I set it up so it’s actually functional and not just aesthetic. I show my course planner with every class I’m taking (plus why I like certain classes and why some are…random, like intro to computers). I also break down my class schedule and how I structure my week—personally I try to do all my schoolwork on Mondays so I can focus on my remote jobs and freelance video editing the rest of the week. The biggest takeaway: write assignments down the second you get them, even if they’re due in a month, so you’re never cramming or pulling all-nighters. Between the assignments tracker, task list (for readings/lectures), and a calendar view, it makes it so much easier to see the big picture and not fall behind.
