I got a Free Supermicro Server for my Homelab This server is to old to be interesting to sell. But interesting enough to play with. A friend was scrapping systems in his company and I said I like to have one of them. It is a supermicro with dual socket 771 on a supermicro x7dwn+ motherboard. It has 16 dimm banks and enough expansion slots. So lets test it out and put some upgrades in the machine! How about 64GB of memory in the system!
