As part of the Samarkand International Climate Forum, the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, together with the World Bank, announced the launch of the project “Restoration of Sustainable Landscapes in Uzbekistan.” The World Bank will allocate $153 million to fund the initiative. This project forms part of a regional program that supports forest and land restoration across five Central Asian countries.
