The Tourism Committee is continuously working to increase the flow of foreign tourists to Uzbekistan and to promote the country’s tourism potential. The series of "Road Show" events dedicated to promoting Uzbekistan’s tourism potential continued in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, following earlier events in Lahore and Karachi. Representatives of tourism companies from both countries, business figures active in the travel and tourism sectors, and members of the diplomatic corps took part in the discussions. They exchanged views and shared proposals on increasing the number of tourists, developing tour packages, and simplifying visa procedures.
