On the sidelines of Eco Expo Central Asia 2025, attention turned to sustainable development efforts in the Aral Sea region. A multi-partner project is currently being implemented in four districts of Karakalpakstan, aiming to improve food security, economic resilience, and access to essential infrastructure in communities affected by environmental degradation. The initiative is being carried out with support from the Government of Japan and local authorities.
