This video is basically my very delayed (like… six months delayed lol) first-ever USA travel diary, aka cultural exchange time with my boyfriend part 1. I’m going to his hometown, meeting his whole family for the first time, and then we pop over to Chicago—except I’m not really doing the “serious sightseeing” thing because to me, American sightseeing is literally going to Target… oop. It’s mostly shopping, eating, and general shenanigans, with a big haul at the end. I take you with me through all the viral American stores I’ve never been to (Glossier, Aritzia, Lululemon, Alo, Brandy, Free People, Anthropologie, Nordstrom, Skims, plus random browsing like Walmart/Marshalls/Ulta), and I do the self-care shopping moment at Target + Sephora (Refy, Kosas, Tatcha). On the food side, I’m trying a bunch of fast food and “you have to try this in the US” places—Chili’s, Wingstop, Taco Bell, Raising Cane’s, deep dish in Chicago, cookies, Trader Joe’s, and more.
