University of Bath on the rise within Global Top 150 in QS World University Rankings 2026

The University of Bath has been ranked 132nd in the QS World University Rankings 2026, rising 18 places from last year. This result places Bath firmly within the top ten per cent of universities ranked worldwide, reflecting its growing global reputation for research and education excellence. This is the highest ranking the University has received since QS began publishing independent rankings in 2010. It also marks the third consecutive year that Bath has been ranked among the world’s top 150 universities. The rankings, published today by global higher education analytics provider QS Quacquarelli Symonds, serve as a key benchmark used by students, employers and academic institutions to assess university performance worldwide.
