Hey y’all — this vlog is basically my end-of-summer trip replay: London to Crete, Greece. In London, we did a real first day of roaming (Notting Hill, food stops, little shopping), and I was fully in my “I love showing people things like I know what I’m doing here” era. Then we made it to Crete and the real vacation started: pool days, beach days, and me trying to get BROWN brown with all my tanning goods. I also kept it real about the resort vibe — it was beautiful, but there were a lot of kids, so if that’s not your thing, you’ll want to consider that. In Crete, we drove out to some insane beaches (like… is this even real?), ate a ton of bread (because Greece will always have good bread), and did a cooking class that honestly had me feeling super grateful. We also took a little road trip to Chania and I’m not even gonna lie — if I ever came back, I’d stay there because it felt cuter, neater, and more towny. My biggest takeaway: the car rental was 100% worth it, but overall I was underwhelmed by the food and realized I’m just more of a bougie-trip girl. Rose and thorn: amazing company and a gorgeous resort… but Crete isn’t a “must return” for me. Now I’m going home to lock in, edit, and post — because nothing beats hard work.
