In this video I give you my honest verdict on FIMO Leather Effect polymer clay—especially the two big questions everyone asks: can you actually sew it, and does it look like real leather once it’s baked? I show how it behaves straight out of the packet (including the satisfying squish test), then run through a bunch of tools and techniques so you can see what it’s good at and what it absolutely isn’t. Spoiler: it’s not made for hand-building, and you’ll see pretty quickly why it shines more as a sheet/clay “material” than a sculpting clay.
