In this video, I’m unboxing Ruby by Jennie (yes—Jennie Ruby Jane, Jennie Kim, Jennie from BLACKPINK… you get it). I’m a huge BLACKPINK fan, and with all four girls dropping solo music lately, Jennie’s Ruby has honestly been on repeat for me every single day. It’s only March, but I genuinely think this is my favorite album of the year. I walk through what I got from her website (the big box set situation with the signed postcard insert) and then I unbox both photobooks—Zen and Jane—that I grabbed on Amazon. I show you everything inside: the red CDs, booklets, posters, postcards, stickers, the super cool “stage” moving-image piece, and all the photocards (I ended up with eight total). I also talk about my biggest gripe: the physical tracklist/order doesn’t match Spotify/Apple Music, and the CD version is missing the features—so to me, it doesn’t feel like the finished product. That’s why I’m begging for the complete Ruby vinyl with the proper tracklist and all the features, because trust me… people will buy it (including me).
