About This Video

Hi guys, it’s Trinh, and in this video I’m going through the top 10 most expensive vinyl in my collection (2025) using Discogs. I basically pulled up my collection, sorted by the highest value price, and then grabbed the records so we could talk about what they are, how I got them, and whether I personally think they’re worth what people are paying. And yes—this list was honestly so interesting (and kind of shocking), especially when you see how high some of these resale prices have gotten. A lot of my “expensive” picks come from Record Store Day exclusives, older pressings that never got repressed, and super limited video game vinyl where, once they’re gone, they’re gone. I talk about things like Billie Eilish’s “Guitar Songs” 7-inch (which I’m sorry, is not worth $245 to me), Ariana Grande’s K Bye For Now RSD, and the Catching Fire soundtrack picture disc that I hunted down on eBay. And then we get into the really rare stuff—like Wicked with only 2,000 copies and my Pokémon/Animal Crossing vinyl that shot up like crazy. The biggest takeaway: Discogs is so helpful for tracking your collection, but the “highest value” numbers can be wild. I’m grateful I got a lot of these for decent prices, because some of these resale listings are actually insane.
