Hi guys, it’s Trinh, and this is my September 2025 music haul—aka me trying to get through a lot of pickups while I’m tired, racing the sunset, and fully aware that my hauls take forever because I talk so much. I’m sharing everything I picked up in September: one CD, a stack of 7-inch singles, and a bunch of 12-inch records, including pop, K-pop, anime soundtracks, and a few very “I saw the signature and blacked out” impulse buys. I start with my signed Orquídeas CD (my favorite Kali Uchis album), plus three Ariana Grande Eternal Sunshine bonus-track 7-inches (crystal clear pressings) and the surprise of the month: Vanessa Hudgens “Sneakernight” on a gorgeous Coke-bottle 7-inch from Urban Outfitters. Then I get into my Demon Slayer Infinity Castle vinyl from CDJapan (yes, shipping hurt), a pre-ordered Ha Vay record, and signed vinyl moments like Victoria Monét’s Jaguar and “I Quit” from Sound Garden. I also talk concerts (Dua Lipa in NYC), Rough Trade finds (signed “Am I the Drama?”), Target clearance strategy for K-pop vinyl, and my biggest win: scoring the rare signed Orquídeas clear pressing for basically $20 because the seller didn’t realize what they had. And I end on my newest obsession: Olivia Dean’s The Art of Loving—already climbing my albums-of-the-year list.
