Because PVC sleeves can mess up your vinyl, period. My Christmas & Chill literally arrived stuck to the PVC and it was disgusting—off-gassing and all that gross stuff. That’s why I’m always happier when a picture disc comes with an actual jacket, like the Yours Truly picture disc packaging.

Is the Thank U, Next vinyl really a 2LP and why is that annoying?

Yes, my Thank U, Next copies are 2LP, and I still think the album could’ve fit on one LP. It annoys me because you’re flipping the record every three songs—like every nine minutes you’re getting up again. I was genuinely sick and tired of flipping it that often.

I got my My Everything 10th anniversary picture disc at Target for a steal. It was originally around $60, and I found it for $17. I was so happy because it’s one of those deals that feels unreal.

I asked my mom to get it for me as a Christmas gift, and when it arrived the vinyl was stuck to the PVC sleeve. I contacted customer service and it took like a month, but I got a refund—so technically I got it for free. The sound quality is still good, it just doesn’t look the best because of the damage.
