Hi guys, it’s Trinh, and yes… another vinyl unboxing because all my pre-orders decided to show up at the same time. In this video I’m opening a mix of 7-inch singles and full soundtrack pressings from a few different sites, and honestly I’m also doing it because I was tired of staring at a bunch of boxes on my bedroom floor. I unbox RAYE’s “Where’s My Husband?” 7-inch (which is bomb), Chappell Roan’s “The Subway” 7-inch (in a big ass package for a single), and Not For Radio’s Melt on the Spotify exclusive “marbled forest” pressing—aka a gorgeous fall-appropriate marble that made me very proud because I actually listened first before buying. Then we get into my Republic Records haul for the K-pop Demon Hunters soundtrack universe. I’m talking multiple 7-inch releases (Your Idol, Golden, How It’s Done, Soda Pop) plus the picture disc and the Smokey Fuchsia soundtrack LP. I go through all the goodies too—photo cards, sticker sheets, posters—and I share my real thoughts: the merch is so good, but the timing is late compared to how hyped the movie was over the summer. Still, as a 7-inch lover, I’m obsessed with these variants and I’m slowly but surely collecting them (while trying not to destroy my wallet).
