Fisher F22 Weatherproof All-Purpose Metal Detector
If you’re going to be detecting in all kinds of weather, the Fisher F22 is a solid beginner-friendly pick. I like that it’s sealed and weatherproof, and it’s preset for standard ground conditions—so you can basically turn it on and start detecting. The coil is waterproof, but I wouldn’t submerge the rest of the unit.
