I just visited Royal Caribbean's Labadee Haiti after over a year of closure - and what I witnessed from Oasis of the Seas completely shocked me. Is Labadee in ruins or a perfectly maintained paradise? The truth will blow your mind. Royal Caribbean closed Labadee Haiti in 2025 due to escalating gang violence across Haiti. With a Level 4 Do Not Travel warning and thousands killed, everyone expected Labadee to be abandoned. But when our cruise ship stopped at the private island, I discovered something nobody is talking about. 🚢 WHAT I DISCOVERED AT LABADEE HAITI: • 30-40 employees still working full-time • Perfectly maintained beaches, zip lines, and facilities • 7 cartloads of supplies delivered from Oasis of the Seas • Royal Caribbean's secret billion-dollar plan revealed • What this means for future Labadee cruises in 2027 ⚠️ HAITI CRISIS TIMELINE: The situation in Haiti has been devastating. Gang violence escalated dramatically since 2024, with the December 2024 Cité Soleil massacre killing over 200 people. By 2025, the UN reported over 3,100 deaths in just six months. The U.S. issued its highest threat level warning, and Royal Caribbean suspended all passenger visits to Labadee in April 2025. 🏝️ IS LABADEE SAFE? While Labadee Haiti is geographically separated from mainland Haiti's violence, Royal Caribbean made the decision to close the private destination to passengers through all of 2026. But what I saw suggests they're preparing for something big. 💰 WHAT THIS MEANS FOR CRUISE PRICES: When Labadee reopens (likely 2027), expect those first sailings to sell out in hours. Royal Caribbean is maintaining this private island paradise for a reason - and it's going to change the cruise industry. 🎥 CHAPTERS: 0:00 - We Stopped at Closed Labadee Haiti 0:28 - Haiti Crisis Explained 1:43 - What I Saw From the Oasis of the Seas 2:26- Royal Caribbean's Response to Haiti Crisis 2:56 - Royal Caribbean's Labadee Haiti 2026 3:40 - Royal Caribbean's Secret Plan for Labadee Haiti 4:04- Future of Labadee Haiti for Cruise Passengers 📱 FOLLOW MY CRUISE ADVENTURES: Subscribe for honest Royal Caribbean reviews, cruise tips, and travel hacks: [Your Channel Link] 🔔 Turn on notifications - I'll be first to announce when Royal Caribbean reopens Labadee Haiti! #LabadeeHaiti #RoyalCaribbean #OasisOfTheSeas #CruiseNews #HaitiCrisis #LabaseeClosed #RoyalCaribbeanCruise #CruiseVlog #TravelNews #CaribbeanCruise --- RELATED SEARCHES: Labadee Haiti closed, Royal Caribbean Labadee 2026, Is Labadee safe, Labadee Haiti news, Royal Caribbean private island, Oasis of the Seas Labadee, Haiti gang violence cruise, When will Labadee reopen, Royal Caribbean Haiti update, Labadee vs CocoCay --- ⚠️ DISCLAIMER: This video shows my personal experience visiting the area around Labadee Haiti in January 2026. About This Video

In this video, I’m on Oasis of the Seas and we literally stop at Labadee, Haiti—even though Royal Caribbean has had Labadee closed to passengers after the security situation in Haiti escalated and the U.S. issued a Level 4 “Do Not Travel” warning. Like a lot of you, I expected to see something that looked abandoned after more than a year of closure. What I saw from the ship shocked me, because it did not look like a place that’s been left to fall apart. From my vantage point, Labadee looked perfectly maintained—beaches, facilities, and even the adventure areas still looked cared for. I also noticed there were still roughly 30–40 employees working full-time, and I watched cartloads of supplies being delivered over from our ship. My biggest takeaway: Royal Caribbean is clearly investing in keeping Labadee “ready,” which makes me think they’re planning for a meaningful return when it’s safe to do so (and yes, I’m watching that 2027 timeline closely). If Labadee reopens, I’d expect those first sailings to be in very high demand—and pricing to reflect it.
