Nearly fifteen years ago, Nikki's career as an automotive journalist was given a kick start when her friend Chelsea Sexton suggested she travel to London to meet with the then-editor-in-chief of automotive news site GreenCarReports. A lot has happened since then, but much of it would never have happened were it not for the job Nikki was offered at GCR shortly after that meeting. And while both she and John have since moved on to other positions at other companies, Nikki fondly remembers her time there. So when she heard last week that GreenCarReports, along with its sibling sites TheCarConnection and MotorAuthority are closing on April 1st, she felt a pang of sadness.
