The idea for this video started with a custom build: converting an ICON Gen 2 1/4″ locking flex-head ratchet into a compact 3/8″ version using Snap-On internals. That led to a broader look at special-purpose 3/8″ and 1/4″ ratchets that earn a place in the box because they work better in specific situations.
