Does Seasoning a Stainless Steel Pan Make It Truly Non-Stick?

I recently did a video on why seasoning stainless steel skillets had little benefits and it was met with controversy. I decided to revisit season stainless steel and talk about why it's so different from seasoning cast iron or carbon steel pans. If you are a stainless steel pan lover, I'll tell you what you should be focusing on. Final thoughts: seasoning a stainless steel pan doesn’t make it noticeably more nonstick but does help with cleanup. Also, washing the pan removes the season and you will need to re-season the pan after every wash. I don’t think seasoning stainless steel is worth the minor benefits. Focus on the fundamentals and temperature control to get the most out of cooking.
