Will this wood lot addition help solve my surface issue? Adding some road gravel at the wood lot

This past spring my wood lot got to me a muddy mess. I'm hoping that adding this road gravel to the main travel area will prevent that in the coming years. I use the Kioti DK5320se cab tractor to spread around 17 tons of road gravel and smooth it out the the 3 point blade.
