Milwaukee has issued a recall on certain top handle chainsaws, and my saw may be affected. In this video I walk through the problem I discovered with the chain brake not disabling the saw when the bar lock is engaged. This is a serious safety issue that Milwaukee has acknowledged with a recall on specific serial numbers. If you own a Milwaukee top handle chainsaw, you may want to check your saw to see if it is part of the recall. I’ll show you: • What problem I discovered • How the chain brake should work • What Milwaukee says about the recall • How to check if your saw may be affected Chainsaw safety is extremely important, and if this recall applies to your saw it’s something you’ll want to address right away. Let me know in the comments if you own one of these Milwaukee chainsaws and if you've experienced the same issue.
