Another great tip is to take your dog for a swim BEFORE town time so they’re soaking wet. Plan and strategize your town time before you get there as the forest is always cooler. When in doubt ALWAYS play it safe. I’ve been doing this nearly 12 years and know what I can get away with safely in different temperatures. Today it was low 30s in town which is a pretty hot day here in Canada and if it were much hotter I wouldn’t even do quick midday chores like I did today. #vanlife #dogsafety #nomadlife #vanlifedogs
