I go prompt by prompt to catch up on what I’ve actually been using, what has entered my collection recently, and what’s surprising me the most right now. It’s a cosy, honest inventory moment where I look at my decks as living tools: which ones are getting shuffled to death, which ones are just sitting pretty, and which ones I’m still trying to “get” in practice. I also chat about the decks that make me happiest, the ones I have a proper crush on, and the guidebooks that feel genuinely helpful when you want to go deeper than keywords. And because I’m me, there’s a little bit of deck goblin chaos: favourites, wish-listing, and the reality of having decks you love aesthetically but haven’t bonded with yet. We end on a little card pull / energy check for the next six months—something to anchor the rest of the year in intention, not just more cardboard.
