Bonjour, today I’m taking you with me for a very cosy book haul—exactly the kind of stack that feeds the soul when you need softness, meaning, and a little escapism. I share a mix of non-fiction (tarot and spirituality included) and then I move into some second-hand fiction treasures. It’s a gentle chatty video, the kind where we just hang out together while I show you what I’ve been drawn to lately, with a Part 2 coming soon for my newest tarot deck haul. On the non-fiction side, I’m excited about books that weave together intuition, creativity, nature and the body—like The Neuroscience of Tarot, Braiding Sweetgrass, The Artist’s Way, and The Body Is a Doorway. Then I switch to fiction (mostly second-hand) with a comforting spread of literary fiction, mystery, fantasy and sci-fi: from Agatha Christie to Stephen King, plus big immersive worlds like Earthsea and Dune. And yes—thank you for being here while I navigate some tough chronic pain times; this haul is very much about finding little anchors of beauty and inspiration.
