Lately I’ve been thinking about how many chapters we quietly close; relationships, seasons of life, old identities, homes we loved, even the versions of ourselves we’ve outgrown. And somehow, finishing a painting or an art journal spread can stir the exact same feelings. Endings are uncomfortable. They can bring up grief, old wounds, memories, fear… and sometimes unexpected relief. But they also make space for what’s next. In today’s studio vlog, I’m finishing a new painting and talking honestly about why endings hurt so much, what they’ve taught me about healing and change, and how we can move through the in-between with a little more softness.
