Wondrous Creatures – Prototype Unboxing and Rules Overview

Wondrous Creatures (2024, 1-4 Players) is produced by Bad Comet and is designed by Yeom.C.W with art by Sophia Kang. I am very excited to have received an early prototype of the game and even as a prototype, wow! does it look good! This is a worker placement game with the objective of scoring points by collecting the resources to play cards. What sets this game apart is that rather than place a worker on a single space, the worker is placed across two spaces in a hex map and can then pick up resources from any neighboring habitat. This opens endless options for which combination of resources are actually available to you and how you can block your opponents.
