To learn more about my #1 recommendation to make money online please visit: https://bit.ly/MyNumber1Recommendation_rio Respondent.io is a research participation platform that pays users to take part in interviews, focus groups, product tests, and other market research studies. The main appeal is that payouts can look much higher than typical survey sites, with some studies offering anywhere from $50 to a few hundred dollars depending on the type of session. The platform works as a matching system. You create a profile, add your work and background details, and apply to studies that fit your experience. If a company chooses you, you complete the session and get paid. On the surface, it sounds like an easy side hustle. But the biggest issue is qualification. Most users are not accepted into every study they apply for, and many report spending a lot of time filling out screeners without ever getting selected. That is where the inconsistency shows up. Some users on Trustpilot say they were able to qualify for studies and get paid. Others say they applied to dozens of opportunities and never earned anything. Similar complaints show up on Reddit, where many users say the platform looks promising at first but becomes frustrating once they realize how selective the process is. The platform itself does not charge users to sign up, which is a plus. Companies are the ones paying to run studies. And when someone does qualify, the payouts can be better than normal survey apps. But this is not a business model. It is task-based income. You do not control how many studies appear, who selects you, or how often you qualify. There is no asset being built, no system you own, and no real way to scale the income over time. That is the biggest drawback. You are relying on somebody else’s platform, somebody else’s opportunities, and somebody else’s approval just to earn occasional payments. This is why I personally prefer building digital assets instead. With digital leasing, you build simple local service websites that rank on Google and generate real calls from people already searching for help. Those leads are then rented to local business owners for recurring monthly income. You own the website. You control the traffic. And the income does not depend on being selected by a platform. If a business owner ever stops paying, the site remains yours and can be leased again. That level of ownership and predictability is why I choose digital leasing over inconsistent platform-based income models. Disclaimer: This review is based on research and personal opinion.
