To learn more about my #1 recommendation for building long term online income, visit: https://bit.ly/MyNumber1Recommendation_jrt Jon Reiter’s TikTok course is promoted as a way to build income using TikTok Shop by posting short form videos and promoting physical products. The pitch sounds simple. Set up a TikTok Shop, post content consistently, and let the algorithm push products to buyers. But once you look deeper, the reality is more complicated. The entire model depends on daily posting, trend chasing, and hoping the algorithm continues to favor your account. Even when a product performs well, results can disappear overnight if engagement drops or TikTok changes its rules. Inside the program, the focus is on product research, testing items, and creating content that converts. That also means dealing with suppliers, refunds, inventory issues, and customer complaints, all while staying compliant with TikTok Shop policies. One of the biggest concerns is the lack of upfront pricing. Many users report being funneled into high ticket coaching offers after joining, with expectations that did not match the actual value provided. User feedback online is mixed. Some people enjoy the structure and community, but many report frustration with inconsistent results, rising costs, and the amount of time required just to stay afloat. The biggest issue is control. You do not own the platform, the traffic, or the algorithm. If your account gets restricted, flagged, or shut down, the income stops immediately. That is why I personally focus on digital leasing instead. Digital leasing is about building simple local service websites that rank in Google and generate real phone calls from real customers. Those websites are then rented to local business owners who pay monthly for the lead flow. You own the asset. You control the traffic. And the income does not depend on posting every day or chasing trends. If one business stops paying, the site can be rented again to another company in the same market. Is Jon Reiter’s TikTok course legit? The model itself can work, but it is high effort, unpredictable, and heavily dependent on a platform you do not control. For people looking for something more stable and asset based, there are better alternatives. Disclaimer: This review is based on independent research and personal opinion.
