This week was a full-on reality check, dolly friends: I tried making my FIRST EVER 1:12 DIY plant…and it did not go the way I pictured in my head. This video is absolutely not a tutorial (I’m not even going to pretend), but I wanted to share the messy middle anyway—because I’m new to the doll and miniature world, and sometimes the craft just says “nope.” I almost didn’t post it, but I figured the oops is part of the fun, and at least now I’ve got something to strive for. I talk through what I attempted, what went sideways, and why I’m pointing you to other creators’ plant videos if you want gorgeous results right now. For me, this one is more about learning out loud: trying, laughing, and coming back next time with a better plan.
