About This Video

This week in my Triang 50 dollhouse laundry, I finally got stuck into the fiddly-but-so-satisfying part: applying decals. I’m still very much learning as I go, so I took my time, lined everything up slowly, and treated it like a “little steps” kind of session rather than trying to rush and regret it later. Decals can make a build look instantly more finished, and I love that moment when something that was plain suddenly looks like a real, believable mini “thing” in the room. I also carried on with the laundry build by aging the shelves, because I wanted them to look like they’ve actually lived a life—handled, used, and maybe a bit neglected in the corners. I’m aiming for cozy and realistic rather than brand-new and shiny, and the aging really helps the whole space feel more grounded. If you’re working on a miniature room project too, my biggest takeaway is: don’t be afraid to slow down, test as you go, and let the “oops” be part of the process. The laundry is coming together, and I’m genuinely so excited about the progress this week.
