About This Video

In this video I make a tiny 1:12 toilet (a little loo!) out of antique scrap hardware, and honestly… it’s one of those builds where I’m learning as I go and laughing at myself along the way. I’m all about using what you’ve already got—odd bits from the junk drawer, little metal pieces, and anything that looks like it could be “something” in miniature if you squint at it long enough. This one is a fun example of how random hardware can turn into a believable dollhouse bathroom piece with a bit of experimenting. I also share where I got the metal shapes I’m using (the K&S Precision Metals brass round tube) and point you to Jolene’s channel (@tinykeyholeminis), because I love having other mini-makers to learn from and be inspired by. If you’re new to minis, this is the kind of project that proves you don’t need fancy tools to start—just curiosity, a willingness to try, and acceptance that there might be a few “oops” before the win. If you’re building out a dollhouse bathroom, this is a cute, budget-friendly way to add a handmade toilet that has real character.
