PONTELAND (NORTHUMBERLAND) Is it better than Darras Hall? This place just isn't what I thought.

Today I'm in one of Northumberland’s most picturesque villages, Ponteland (or Pon-tee-land as the locals say!) Just a short trip from Newcastle, this historic village is the supposed to be the perfect mix of countryside charm and modern amenities but I'd does often come up against Darras Hall for top spots to live in the North East...BUT. I wanted to know what the locals think of the place, how it compares to Darras Hall and what this place actually has to offer. After that, I tell you my thoughts on this sleepy village and whether or not I'd be happy to live in a place like this.
