Learning to Paint Portraits? Start With an Eye

Whenever I paint a portrait I often start by painting in one of the eyes. This is just a preference of course (you can stat wherever you like!), but I often find that it gives me a little bit of confidence moving forward. I use that first eye as the foundation to paint the rest of the portrait around. So that's what we'll be painting today- the right eye of this portrait from start to finish.
